Synopsis
A journey across a desert landscape that follows the mining of iron ore and its transport to the ocean aboard the world's longest train. Soon, the sight of beaches strewn with shipwrecks signals the end of the trip, while piles of this sought-after metal are amassed on docked ocean freighters before departing for the wealthy countries. This film uses the ancient technique of pinhole photography to offer an unaccustomed view of a desert inhabited by men and machines.
