This Gigantic Furrowing of the Ground
Synopsis
This film is a topographical movie about Normandie. It comes back 70 years later in the places where French filmmaker Jean Grémillon, in 1944-45, shot his documentary Le Six juin à l'aube ("6th of June at dawn"). This film is about memory and architecture, about the tension between past and present too, and at the end, an "hommage" to a forgotten film of the film history.
