Synopsis
En pleine Seconde Guerre mondiale, Aram, traducteur et peintre d’origine arménienne, s’enfuit d’Istanbul pour sauver sa vie. Caché dans un village forestier près de la frontière soviétique (aujourd’hui la Géorgie), il tombe amoureux de la femme du paysan qui l’héberge.
