 Le Bateau ivre

Le Bateau ivre

A Feature film by Dominique Philippe

Production year : 2015

In a small port on the northern Brittany coast, two free spirits, Alan and Solen, meet.
A rather solitary type, Alan gets away from it all to the countryside in his truck, to draw a few landscapes.
Passionate about the sea, Solen fulfils her love of water by regularly "borrowing" boats in ports and heads out to the wide open spaces, seeking the freedom she needs.
After losing sight of each other, the pair meet by accident outside a court. A fine love affair hovers, quickly darkened by the absence of an important element in a couple's life.
Since his accident, Alan thinks he's unable to live with another person, as a couple. On a razor's edge, these two independent characters try to fine a balance so that they can fully experience their passionate encounter. Will they find a boat to take them to the right harbour?
