Naïs, Jean and Jackee are 20 years old. In three weeks they will have finished their training at an acting school. Jean is getting ready to do an important audition and tries to find a way to give his life meaning. Jackee is preparing for an entrance exam for a school in the United States, where it is less difficult for a black actor to find a place. Naïs, incapable of imagining the future, lives for the present and burns the candle from both ends. In a world undermined by insecurity, where dreaming is a subversive act, Naïs, Jean, and Jackee must, each in their own way, face up to the reality of their desires.
