Synopsis
A young man, confined in a maid's room, works on a portrait f a woman. While he is going to finish his work, the portrait becomes animated. The exchange which takes place between the woman and the painter entails him to near madness and is going to urge him to entirely reconsider the style of his painting.

Sixteen-year-old Diane exists exclusively through her mother's gaze. But this intensely close bond between Diane and her mother, Sophie, is becoming increasingly problematic for the teenager.
