    Synopsis

    Mithat is in his eighties and a keen collector; Ali is the concierge in his dilapidated building. For Mithat, Istanbul is large and generous, like his own collections, whereas for Ali, the city is nothing more than a collection of buildings. When the building's joint owners decide to do some major renovations, the shared fate of these two men is sealed.
