Synopsis
Armando, former harbour union activist, lost his left leg after been tortured during the rule of general Pinochet. He lives with his niece near the port of Valparaiso. Confined and sad, he has to face everyday the impressive sailboat The Esmeralda, which was used as a base to all the atrocities of the regime. But today, Armando begins a new start. His first orthopaedic leg waits for him and with it maybe the hope to live finally his buried desires.
