Synopsis
This film follows five ballerinas at the Mariinski Theater in Saint Petersburg over a period of two years. Through their destinies, Ballerina reveals the career arc of the Russian ballerina today, from her studies at dance school, through to the summit of her glory on stages throughout the world.
