Synopsis
The producer of Wolf and The Last Trapper recounts the true and moving story of Beni, an adorable little Bonobo, and the animal's return to the wild. Through Beni's story, we discover a species of rare intelligence - and that is now endangered. We also learn of Claudine André's admirable fight to protect them.
Back of the Wild is an adventure to be shared with the family, which will delight young and old alike. Once upon a time in the Congo lived a species of great apes found nowhere else. More intelligent, more playful, more fascinating than all the other monkeys, the Bonobos are nevertheless a disappearing breed.
Claudine André, who has devoted her life to protecting them, has opened a reserve that is unique in the world. There she takes in Beni, a little Bonobo who'd been captured by men and who will learn to live in a community once again and get ready to face the dangers of the jungle.
