Synopsis
Ali and Merdad attempt to flee Iran with their cousins Asy, 7, and Arman, 5, whom they aim to take to their parents who live in Austria. But they must first pass through Turkey and obtain a hypothetical visa which is taking a long time to arrive. They get to know other Iranian refugees: a couple and their little boy who try to prove to the authorities that they're persecuted for political reasons; a teacher and a young Kurd who overcome their daily problems thanks to an incredible sense of humor. Men and women who hope with all their hearts to get to Europe, land of freedom.
