A Perfect Day
Synopsis
24 hours in the life of Malek in today's Beirut. The young man, who lives with his mother, Claudia, suffers from narcolepsy, and immediately falls asleep whenever he stops moving. Malek has managed to convinced Claudia to go to the lawyer to officially declare his father, who disappeared 15 years ago, dead. Malek also tries to find a more synchronous rhythm with the others, the city, and above all, Zeina, the woman he loves but who no longer wants to see him. He melds into Beirut, its streets, its bars, searching for Zeina, who he hopes will offer him a second chance.
And what if today were "a perfect day" to escape his ghosts and to find once again those he'd lost?
