Synopsis
Carlos, a Spanish student, arrives in Africa looking for Souli, a famous African author who has chosen to live far from the public eye in an isolated fishing village.
Souli knows an ancestral tale that is only passed down orally that Carlos wants to transcribe. By settling into the village, Carlos unwittingly becomes the tool for a settling of accounts between the people he meets: Yann, the lobster collector, Mona, a Frenchwoman who runs a workshop producing local wares, and Abi, a young African woman who dreams of nothing but Europe.
His naivety sparks the explosion that blows apart the social equilibrium and "established" harmony of the village.
