Alphonse Brown and Scotch have been friends since childhood. They make a living off petty crime in Havre – until the day that James gets caught.
After a year in prison, Alphonse links up with Scotch again, although he’s determined to make a complete break with the past. The illegitimate son of singer James Brown, Alphonse now wants to follow in his father’s footsteps.
However, on the evening of his release, the two men discover an old trunk in a bunker. Little do they know how their lives are going to change.
They arrive in Paris, expecting to set out on a great musical career, only to discover that everyone wants to get their hands on the trunk and its mysterious contents…
