Synopsis
In 1918, two French soldiers who have survived heavy bombing are trapped in a crater without ammunition. One of them, Auguste, realizes an enemy soldier is just opposite. He decides to face the danger and tackle it.

Sixteen-year-old Diane exists exclusively through her mother's gaze. But this intensely close bond between Diane and her mother, Sophie, is becoming increasingly problematic for the teenager.
