About
"Children Of The Stork" is a protest film, free of all constraints, be they linked to the story, production or technical methods... an open film. I felt free to chuck together, in a humourous way, everything that I loved and hated! When I didn't follow my usual narrative style it was like taking a break, giving myself a moment to breathe. I wanted to look at family, militancy and the right to be different from an absurd, mocking angle, and through humor, speak of serious things. Society treats us like babies and gets us to swallow any old rubbish! My stork speaks, like the cuddly toy in children's books! Frankly, who's mocking who? Therein lies protest!
