Synopsis
Marius, a young West Indian guy recently arrived in Paris, can’t find enough work to live on so he reluctantly accepts a job as a human lab rat, testing new medicines. There he meets Professor Migeon, a renowned obstetrician who runs the laboratory and also conducts obscure research in a disused clinic. Marius turns out to be the Professor’s ideal guinea pig. Without telling him, he implants “a synthetic embryo in the fatty tissue layer” of Marius’s peritoneum. Marius is trapped.

About
“L’annonce faite à Marius” is a comedy which addresses a very topical issue. In “genetic manipulation”, the crucial word is “manipulation”. The film is primarily a realistic comedy of feelings in which the Absurd and a grating sense of humour are the key components. (Harmel Sbraire - excerpt from press kit)
