"The screening organised by Unifrance in Los Angeles went off really well, just like the "Post-Coitum, animal triste" projection had. The auditorium was three-quarters full of Americans. They laughed a lot. They came up to me right there and then to say how much they'd liked the film, how it was such a change from big-budget, violent productions which stress action more than emotion.
