Synopsis
It's a beautiful May evening. The sun has just set behind the hill. The residents of a housing complex designed by Le Corbusier are about to spend a Sunday evening a little different from usual. Indeed, tonight, the TV sets are ablaze in every apartment and, in 12 minutes time, the French nation will discover the face of its new President. We enter the lives of the inhabitants of seven of the building's apartments, chosen at chance by the author's imagination, to live these twelve minutes in real time. The trouble is, things don't go smoothly that night. A motorcycle exhaust roars, nerves snap, the whole building seems to be under an evil spell and, as a result, chain reactions take place within these seven homes.

About
"I wanted to shoot in this building designed by Le Corbusier and I also knew that its "social cross-section" was fairly wide, ranging from the architecture lecturer to the primary school teacher and second-generation immigrants (the building is not the exclusive domain of the rich). The few people with a high social status live there from their attachment to Le Corbusier's ideas. I have been familiar with Le Corbusier's work for several years now. In my home region, and elsewhere, he designed many things: he built an enornous town in India ; the first "Cité Radieuse" in Marseille, known by the locals as "the mad house" ; in Firminy, he built a housing unit, the cultural centre, a football stadium and an unfinished chapel : he died before its inauguration... and a covent, at L'Arbresle, near Lyons, about which I made a documentary a few years ago. Six months before I started shooting the film, I worked on a documentary about the building as cinematographer since an exhibition had been organized in the abandoned part, the 7th street, the part I used for this film..."
