Synopsis
Janos lives in Budapest with his wife Judith and their son Adam. After seven years of total silence, he suddenly receives the gift of a camera and a videotape from his brother Gabor, exiled in Paris. So the brothers begin a videotaped correspondence. Their past and present mingle in video-letters intercut with filmed images of childhood. Janos and Gabor re-knit a profound relationship. But the correspondence slowly raises doubts and conflicts in the story of their lives. Judith was Gabor's mistress before she married Janos; and she saw Gabor again when he secretly came to Budapest a few years ago. So who is Adam's real father ? A violent videotaped struggle takes place between the two men, with the love of wife and child at stake. Each brother is ready to sacrifice all, spurred by the intensity of his feelings.
