Right from the moment they first exchange glances in a cyber cafe, Vincent and Rebecca fall in love. They are young, barely 18 years old, and approach life in a totally carefree way. However, two months later, Vincent's corpse is fished out of the Rhône and Rebecca has disappeared. Detective Hervé Cagan and his colleague Karine Mangin are put in charge of the investigation. While they piece together the love affair that united Vincent in life and in death, Hervé and Karine find themselves confronted with the fractures in their own lives.
