Synopsis

1975, in an Anatolian village in northeast Turkey. For fifty years, Ayshe has been hiding her real identity. She was born Eleni and is of Greek origin. Her older sister dies and a Greek stranger arrives in the village. The story he tells leads Ayshe on a journey that unearths buried memories.
