Synopsis
For Mathilde and Thomas, meeting each other is like having a second chance. Together they can learn to live again, reconstruct a future. But their dream of creating a family is impossible because Mathilde can no longer have children. Thomas knows that in the clinic where he’s an obstetrician, Professor Cardoze may have a solution…
Although reticent to commit anything illegal, Thomas is ready to do anything to ensure the happiness of the woman he loves. Mathilde has no idea what he’s up to and he decides to make her believe in miracles, leaving her in Cardoze’s hands.
Their happiness seems complete when Manon is born. And yet, all too quickly the little baby develops a strange personality. Apart from her striking resemblance to her mother, Manon proves to be abnormally precocious and increasingly formidable.
Everyone’s secrets grow heavier with each passing day, buried demons wait to emerge. Harmony can only resist so long, precipitating the whole family into an infernal spiral about which no one can predict the outcome.
