Biography

After a master's in Philosophy at Lyons University, Jean-Paul Civeyrac enrolled at the FEMIS, graduating in 1991. He made a remarkable series of films during his studies there, including "La femme sotte", a short film that he made in 1990, and "La Vie selon Luc" (1991) that was selected for a large number of international festivals. In 1992, he staged Pierre-Erwan Guillaume's play "Les Somnanbules" at the Théâtre Marie-Stuart in Paris. "Ni d'Eve ni d'Adam" is his first feature film.
