Seven majority French productions or coproductions will be presented during this year's Critics' Week in Cannes.
Suzanne, the second film by Katell Quillévéré will open the event. Nos héros sont morts ce soir by David Perrault will represent France in the Competition section. We also note the presence of two minoritary French coproductions among the 7 features selected: The Lunchbox by Ritesh Batra and Salvo by Fabio Grassadonia and Antonio Piazza.
No less than four French films are among the short film competition titles:
Agit pop by Nicolas Pariser, La Lampe au beurre de Yak by Hu Wei, Océan by Emmanuel Laborie, and Vikingar by Magali Magistry.
Critics' Week has also selected another feature for a special screening:
Les Rencontres d'après minuit by Yann Gonzales.
