This year's Karlovy Vary International Film Festival - 2007 closed its doors on Saturday, July 7.

The festival's Ecumenical Jury awarded a Special Mention to Conversations with My Gardener by Jean Becker , hailing the film's ability to "concentrate in a creative manner on human and
universal values such as honesty, loyalty, love, and respect for creativity, which can enrich todays world." For further information about the performance of French films in the Czech Republic, click here:
