14th Hamburg International Film Festival

Six French features were showcased at this year’s Hamburg International Film Festival in the “Voilà!” Section, devoted to Francophone film fare.

These films are:
"Lili and the Baobab" by Chantal Richard
"Komma" by Martine Doyen (France/Belgium)
"On Fire" by Claire Simon
"Du jour au lendemain" by Philippe Le Guay
"I Did It My Way" by Xavier Giannoli
"Royal Palace!" by Valérie Lemercier

"Camping" by Fabien Onteniente was selected in the "Eurovisuall" section.

Following the closing of the festival on September 12, Gérard Depardieu will receive on October 10 the Douglas Sirk Award presented annually to a personality or a company that has made outstanding achievements in film culture and the film industry. Two other French artists, Isabelle Huppert and François Ozon, have received this award in past years.
