The 15th European Film Awards were announced Saturday December 7 in Rome.
Fran輟is Ozon's "8 Women" ・Fanny Ardant, Catherine Deneuve, Isabelle Huppert, Emmanuelle Beart, Danielle Darrieux, Virginie Ledoyen, Ludivine Sagnier and Firmine Richard ・were honored with Best Actress awards. "To Have and To Be" by Nicolas Philibert picked up the Arte Prize for Best Documentary and "Divine Intervention" by Elia Suleiman was voted Best Non-European Film.
It is worth nothing the triumph of director Pedro Almodovar, who waltzed off with a stack of awards for "Talk to Her:" Best Film, Best Direction, Best Screenplay as well as the Audience Prizes for Best Director and Best Actor, for Javier Camara.
