Luc Besson and Rie Rasmussen will be in Moscow and Warsaw from March 6 through 9 to prepare for the upcoming release of "Angel-A" in Russia and Poland.
On March 7, on the eve of the Women's Day public holiday in Russia, Luc Besson and Rie Rasmussen will attend a preview screening of their film in the largest "October" multiplex cinema following a day jam-packed with media interviews.
The film will be released on around 60 prints by the distributor Central Partnership, a loyal supporter of French films in Russia. The director and his leading actress will then travel on to Warsaw, where their schedule includes a series of interviews and a preview screening at the Gala Cinema on March 8. The distributor Monolith is set to release "Angel-A" on March 17 on 40 prints.
This initiative has been organized with backing from Unifrance. It is also worth adding that Luc Besson and Rie Rasmussen will continue their promotional work for the film in the months ahead, with their program already including visits to the cities of Rome and Tokyo.
