Released in Great Britain by Pathé Entertainment on 425 prints,* "Sprung! The Magic Roundabout" has attracted over 1 million spectators in three weeks.
Released February 11 as "The Magic Roundabout," the animated film co-directed by Jean Duval, Franck Passingham and Dave Borthwick has shown excellent staying power following its promising launch in Great Britain.
After registering over 500,000 admissions in its opening week, the film sat at 7th place in the British weekly charts, already posting £5,200,794 (equivalent to €7,563,723) at the box office after its third weekend.
Judging by these fine results, we can safely predict that the million admissions score earned by this feature film (produced by Films Action) mark only the first step in a long and successful career.
