From April 19 through 21, Unifrance and the French Embassy in Hungary will be staging the 5th Budapest French Film Festival.
The following eight films have been selected: "The Widow of Saint-Pierre", festival opener, attended by its director, Patrice Leconte; "The Taste of Others" by Agnès Jaoui; "The Crimson Rivers" by Mathieu Kassovitz; "Deep in the Woods" by Lionel Delplanque (in attendance, with Alexia Stresi); "Kirikou and the Sorceress" by Michel Ocelot (in attendance); "Du poil sous les roses" by Agnès Obadia and Jean-Julien Chervier, distributed by Mokep (attended by Agnès Obadia, Jean-Julien Chervier and Julie Durand); "Nightcap" by Claude Chabrol, distributed by Mokep (with Anna Mouglalis in attendance) and "Brotherhood of the Wolf" by Christophe Gans, who will also make the trip to Budapest for the event.
All these films, having already landed a distributor in Hungary, will be presented in the Corvin complex's largest theater (500 seats), located in the heart of Budapest. After the festival, the films will be presented to Hungarian audiences in the provincial cities of Szeged, Debrecen and Pecs.
