🏆 Awards for French shorts 🏆
➡️ At the Minimalen Short Film Festival in Norway, three French works received awards
- Best Film in the International Competition went to Daria's Night Flowers by Maryam Tafakory
- Honorable Mention in the Nordic Competition went to Pirateland by Stavros Petropoulos
- Best Film in the International Competition of the Multiplié Dance Film strand went to Bolero.s by Mehdi Kerkouche
➡️ In Australia, Flickerfest, a pioneering festival dedicated to short films, awarded two French works
- Honourable Mention of the Jury for International Short Film went to Smells Like Kids Spirit by Aude Pépin and to Vultures by Dian Weys.
✈️ The following people received travel funding ✈️
- Samuel Suffren, director of Bleu Heart, presented his film at the Sundance Film Festival.
- Aude Pépin (photo above) accompanied her film Smells Like Kids Spirit, presented at Flickerfest.

2026 kicked off with a fine selection of French short films presented at three partner festivals.
🇳🇴 In Norway, the Minimalen Short Film Festival presented 16 French shorts across the festival's various strands.
