For several years now, Unifrance has been a partner of the Prix Palatine, the first and only binational film award given by high school students in Italy and France.
The selection offers French and Italian high school students three films from the other country, which they will be able to discover over the next six months during a double series of traveling screenings. A jury of high school students will choose their favorite Italian or French film next May.
This 2026 edition will be even bigger, with an expected audience of 3,000 high school students (compared to 2,000 in 2025) attending 60 screenings of the six selected films in 20 cities across France and Italy.
Each film will be accompanied by educational materials, meetings, and discussions with the filmmakers.
In previous editions, high school students have met, for example, Michel Gondry, Nicolas Philibert, Delphine and Muriel Coulin, Paolo Sorrentino, Matteo Garrone, etc.
