The Dazzled, the debut film by Sarah Suco, received the inaugural Air France Audience Prize at the 25th Rendez-Vous With French Cinema à New York.
On the occasion of the 25th edition of the Rendez-Vous With French Cinema à New York, which took place from March 5 through 12, Unifrance, Film at Lincoln Center and Air France created the Air France Audience Prize, which is awarded to New York spectators' favorite title from among the selection of French works presented by the festival. We should note that three films were unable to be presented to the public after the early closure of the Lincoln Center due to the global Covid-19 crisis. The three films were The Specials, Happy Birthday, and Spread Your Wings.
The Dazzled by Sarah Suco took home the inaugural Audience Prize. The New York public were deeply moved by the feature's autobiographical aspect and subject (a religious community's influence over a family).
