A large number of awards completed the 15th Seville European Film Festival, which wrapped on Saturday, November 17, in the presence of Yolande Zauberman and Abdellatif Kechiche, among others.
All the French titles that received awards:
- Golden Giraldillo: Donbass by Sergei Loznitsa (minority coproduction)
- Best Director Award: M by Yolande Zauberman
- Best Actor Award: ex-aequo Vincent Lacoste and Pierre Deladonchamps in Sorry Angel
- The New Waves Section Best Film Award: Shéhérazade by Jean-Bernard Marlin
- The New Waves Special Award: Samouni Road by Stefano Savona (minority coproduction)
- Endless Revolutions Best Film Award: A Violent Desire for Joy by Clément Schneider
- Cinéphiles of the Future Award: Funan by Denis Do
- Grand Audience Award: A Woman at War by Benedikt Erlingsson (minority coproduction)
- Eurimages Award to the Best European Coproduction: Sunset by László Nemes
- 5th Ocaña Award for Freedom: Sauvage by Camille Vidal-Naquet
- Women in Focus Award for Best Film in the Official Selection: Pearl by Elsa Amiel
- Honorary Giraldillo for his career to Abdellatif Kechiche (photo)
