Launched in July last year as part of the French Film Panorama in China, the French Virtual Reality Program has been highly successful.
Grouped together under the title "We Love French VR," five French immersive productions were included in the program:
- The Cliffs of V. - Chapter 1
- Mozart 360 - Agnus Dei
- Mozart 360 - Benedictus
- Mozart 360 - Gloria
- Firebird - La Péri
Following two months of commercial access provided by the Chinese VOD platform Eyepetizer, these five films registered over 150,000 viewings in China—a major achievement for these new-format creative works, which require specialized viewing technologies. This excellent response to the program adds to growing evidence of the importance of the Chinese market in the field of virtual reality, a market in which the democratization of VR is unquestionable.
