Over one million hotel rooms in the United States now have increased access to French films on VOD via the new TV5Monde Cinema On Demand network launched in June.
On June 21, 2016, TV5MONDE launched a new service for the United States, the TV5Monde Cinema On Demand platform, following an agreement signed with the major provider of television services and films in hotels across the USA (representing 1.2 million hotel rooms). This is the first time that American hotels will be able to offer guests a selection of French-language films (with English subtitles) on a VOD platform.
In its first set of titles offered, this VOD service includes The Measure of a Man by Stéphane Brizé, Courted by Christian Vincent, Je suis un soldat by Laurent Larivière, or Florida by Philippe Le Guay, Half Sister, Full Love by Marion Vernoux, and Take-Away Romance by Amelle Chahbi.
