The second edition of the Tu Cita con el Cine Francés Festival will take place in Madrid from June 18 through 21, 2015. This event will give Spanish audiences the chance to discover 7 new French films that have not yet been released in Spain.
This year's event aimed at Spanish audiences offers a selection of 8 films (including one French classic), some of which will be accompanied and presented by their directors and leading cast members.
The following films will be presented at the 2015 festival:
Love at First Fight by Thomas Cailley, screened in the presence of the director
Bon Rétablissement by Jean Becker, screened in the presence of the director
Far From Men by David Oelhoffen, screened in the presence of the director and Viggo Mortensen
The Connection by Cédric Jimenez
Eden by Mia Hansen-Løve
The Finishers by Nils Tavernier
Do Not Disturb by Patrice Leconte
Mr. Hulot's Holiday / Les Vacances de Monsieur Hulot by Jacques Tati
Screenings will be held in the theaters of the Yelmo Cines. The event will open on June 18 with a screening of Love at First Fight, with a Q&A session to be held afterwards.
It is worth noting that Far From Men will be re-screened in Barcelona on June 20 at the Yelmo Icaria cinema, also in the presence of its director David Oelhoffen and the actor Viggo Mortensen.
