Three French films will be presented at the 44th edition of New Directors/New Films , which
will take place in New York March 18 through 29, 2015.
Fort Buchanan by Benjamin Crotty (previously presented at the Locarno and Rotterdam festivals), The Great Man by Sarah Leonor (in her presence), and Mercuriales by Virgil Vernier will receive their premiere screenings in the USA during the 44th New Directors/New Films, organized by the MoMA and Lincoln Center (New York) from March 18 through 29, 2015. We should also mention the presence of several minority French coproductions, such as The Teacher by Nadav Lapid, Line of Credit by Salomé Alexi, and Los Hongos by Oscar Ruiz Navia.
In all, 26 longs features and 16 shorts will be presented during this year's edition of this festival, which highlights emerging filmmakers and whose principal vocation is to "break or re-cast the cinematic mold."
