As the Oscars campaign is running, Two Days, One Night just received two important nominations for the Satellite Awards : Best international film and Best actress.
The Satellite Awards are the annual awards given by the International Press Academy of United States.
Two Days, One Night will compete for the Best international film with ten other films including Force majeure (Sweden), Gett (Israel), Leviathan (Russia), Mommy (Canada) or Ida (Poland), trying to follow the success of The Broken Circle Breakdown, awarded last year.
Marion Cotillard, cherished by the American audience, is nominated for the Best Actress awards, beside Anne Dorval (Mommy) Julianne Moore (Still Alice) or Rosamund Pike (Gone Girl). She has just been awarded Best actress by the New York Critics Circle.
The ceremony will take place on the February 15th à Los Angeles, just one week before the Oscars.
Two Days, One Night, distributed by IFC Films, will be released in the US in December 24th. The international press praises the filmmakers talent, as they go from one international festival to another (Toronto, Telluride, AFI Fest, New York…).
