MyFrenchFilmFestival - 2015 has announced the members of its two juries.
For its 5th edition, the festival is delighted to welcome four filmmakers and six journalists from around the world as this year's jury members who will vote for the winning feature films and short films in the festival's competition sections.
* The Filmmakers' Jury, which will award the Chopard Filmmakers' Award to the Best Feature Film, is composed of four movie directors:
- Michel Gondry - Jury president
- Joachim Lafosse
- Nadav Lapid
- Abderrahmane Sissako
* The International Press Jury, which will award its own International Press prize to the Best Feature Film and the Best Short Film, is composed of six journalists:
- Peter Debruge - Film critic for Variety magazine
- Mónica Delgado - Correspondent in France for the Mexican daily Reforma
- Olivier Guez - Cultural correspondent for the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung in Paris and contributor to numerous international media
- Stefano Montefiori - Correspondent for the Italian daily Corriere della Sera
- Tamara Lui Tanyu - Contributor to several Chinese media
- Alexey Tarkhanov - Permanent correspondent in Paris for the Russian daily Kommersant
The Filmmakers' and International Press juries will meet in Paris during the festival to discuss and cast their votes for the winning films. Award-winning films will be screened on Air France flights over a period of six months starting in July 2015.
A third award, the Lacoste Audience Award, will honor the Best Feature Film and Best Short Film: for this award, web users across the globe can vote for their favorite films presented on the festival platform.
