A loony road movie.
In recession-hit France, a bunch of carefree young people live in their own little world, determined to enjoy their summer to the full and find the girl from July 14...
In his debut feature, Antonin Peretjatko brought together a group of actors from different backgrounds, including the theater, vaudeville, the circus, the movies, and the music industry, to immerse us in a chaotic world that interweaves love stories, misunderstandings, gags, and political commentary. This road movie was shot at 22.5 frames per second, giving it a feeling of accelerated action as we race along at full throttle through a wild and hectic summer.
