The discovery of Blue is the Warmest Color poses for a video series initiated by the American newspaper, observed by the sensual camera of the great DOP Janusz Kaminski.
The The New York Times launched this initiative and asked DOP
(who has worked with Steven Spielberg on all the director's films since Schindler's List ) to make eleven short films, each with a very different tone, starring the actors who have been much in view and most admired in 2013.
Among the stars who accepted this prestigious proposition (Cate Blanchett, Bradley Cooper, Robert Redford, Forest Whitaker, to mention just a few), only one French personality has been invited to participate, vivacious Adèle Exarchopoulos, the discovery of Blue is the Warmest Color, which is currently enjoying success in the USA.
The series, titled "Making a Scene," can be viwed on the New York Times website: http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2013/11/25/magazine/2013-making-a-scene-movies-issue.html?_r=1
