Synopsis
Mussy-sur-Ploute, a place everybody knows ! Its church, its bar run by André Pommard and the old-fashioned bakery where Fernand Castanier reigns supreme. It's a genuine, quiet little village and proud of the fact. About fifteen miles away by road lies the chateau of Monerdier where the countess and her son Louis live in the attic rooms along with a few retired owls.The place was probably very beautiful once but, alas, time has been tough on it, just as it has on the countess and her son. All three of them are slowly becoming more decrepit through the lack of money...
