Synopsis
On November 29, 1974, the National Assembly passed the law legalizing abortion… Behind this legislation, standing alone against the majority and against the whiffs of anti-Semitism, was one woman: Simone Veil. The film recounts the four days of debates leading up to the vote. During those four days, Simone Veil was spared nothing: political maneuvering, loneliness, heated debates, insults, and acts of violence directed at her family… Diane, a young journalist, makes this the subject of her first investigative report.
