Synopsis
Ali, 16, and his younger brother Selim are spending their summer vacation in the Dordogne with their grandparents. It’s Ali’s chance to finally leave childhood behind: he’s made up his mind—he’s ready for love, ready for his first time, during a summer he’ll never forget. Parallel to his own discoveries is the more painful reality of his grandparents grappling with an illness that is taking hold. A subtle and luminous exploration of romantic love at different stages of life.
