Synopsis

Through their colors, shapes, and fragrances, flowers enchant and captivate us. This series presents three spectacular episodes about the most beloved flowers, tulips, jasmines, and cherry blossoms that we thought we knew everything about. But they are full of surprises! These flowers are becoming increasingly present in our daily lives, and around the world, our passion for petals continues to grow, sometimes even to the point of excess. But what do we really know about the mysteries of these plant organs, and their aesthetic or spiritual ‘superpowers’? How did flowers go from the anonymity of the wild to becoming international celebrities, cherished and venerated by millions? In this series, we explore the domestication of wildflowers. They will be shown in their natural habitats, just as they exist in their raw, untamed form revealing breathtaking sites: seas of multicolored flowers swaying in the wind, sun-drenched mountain peaks, and vast, blooming valleys...
