Synopsis
1986. Japan is shaken by an unprecedented event: the first armoured‑truck robbery in its history, carried out in broad daylight in Tokyo’s most exclusive district. The perpetrators? A group of small-time car thieves from the suburbs of Paris, drawn into trafficking stolen Impressionist paintings to the Yakuza. Among them, Philippe “Fifi” Jamin, speaking on camera for the first time.
The Paris – Tokyo Job unravels this extraordinary true story as a seemingly simple art theft spirals into a high-stakes collision with the Japanese underworld – a global crime saga told by the thieves themselves, the Yakuza they crossed, and the detectives who chased them across three continents.
