Synopsis
Maxime, a young white woman and novice casting assistant, must quickly find an elderly Congolese woman who speaks Lingala for a role in a film. After several unsuccessful attempts among the residents of Château Rouge, a neighbourhood she is discovering for the first time, she meets Elikia, a young black man whose grandmother fits the profile perfectly. Despite a rocky start with Elikia, Maxime eventually meets Gigi, the renowned grandmother. Moved by this woman, she must choose between her professional ambitions and her ethics.

Sixteen-year-old Diane exists exclusively through her mother's gaze. But this intensely close bond between Diane and her mother, Sophie, is becoming increasingly problematic for the teenager. At high school, she would like to be loved like she is at home and expresses it in an awkward way like when she exchanges a favor for a look, in the toilets. A loudmouth, provocative, and seeking attention, Diane tries to stand apart from her mother and wishes, during a weekend, to live like an adult.
