Synopsis
1934, in a children’s detention centre in Belle-Île-en-Mer, where 56 kids - beaten and humiliated by their wardens - revolt and manage to escape. Encircled by the sea, they’re soon captured and sent back to prison. All except one of them: Jules Bonneau, nicknamed The Bully, a tormented teen who finds refuge with a nurse and a fisherman with progressive ideas, called Anne and Jean Kadarn. Jules fights for survival, driven by the rage which has shaped him. In the midst of such violence, an unexpected light can pierce through.
